One doesn't see too many gold CACs.

Blemishes are on the holder.

Nice piece! It appears to be "satiny" vs. "frosty." Is that accurate for the actual coin or is it simply how it appears in your images? (I encounter more "frosty" examples.)

Too bad the price split between MS-65 and MS-66 is not greater - if it was, the coin would have been a candidate for a regrade. Nothing wrong with having a coin in a higher grade holder when it comes time for you (or your heirs) to sell it!

Lovely historical coin ... curious as well if the images posted represent the true surface condition of this coin.

Indeed ... using my somewhat dated Greysheet (8/15) ... MS65 at ASK is $190 versus MS66 at $205.

Regardless of future selling concerns ... this appears to be a lovely example of a treasured coin ... and I thank you for sharing the image with all of us.
