This one appears to be counterfeit to me. I do not like the look of it.

The tilt of the shots makes evaluation of the features impossible. I don't see anything that panics me about the authenticity, but on that angle the images aren't conclusive.

It's the seller's pictures throwing everyone off. Notice the die crack from the last A of America down through the middle arrow. A second die crack goes from the L of Dol. to the rim. I found a similar example in the Heritage Auction archives

Hard to say with the angle of the photo....although could be EX-45;when in doubt don't risk it.

I agree on the quality of the photos. What I have an issue with is the grainy surface and pits in the details of the coin plus the rounded edges on both obverse and reverse. A coin of this degree of wear normally has a nice sharp edge on the rims. The photos in the listing allow you to enlarge, which helped me see the surface better. The modern process used to counterfeit now allows for die breaks to be put into the finished product if the host coin used has them. If this coin was offered to me it is one I would gladly pass on.

coin is getting some attention since I posted it. Might be because the auction is ending soon but the bid has went from 90ish to 129.

I agree with the others. I don't like the look of the coin. Has the signs of a Chinese cast copy. Stay away

Not sure if its fake but those grainy surfaces would be enough for me to pass. If real I don't think it would grade problem free.
