AU-50 I'm not sure about the jewelry thing, I dont really see what gives ND this opinion?

It could easily be just the pic, but if you look at the edge of the coin, you will see that the wear lines run in opposite directions. This gives the appearance of a bezel. Look specifically near the "U" in United.
Again, this could easily just be a photographic illusion.

It is an optical illusion. With the coin in hand, I have absolutely no reason to believe that this coin has been in jewelry. This coin was never slabbed, but I felt that it was a strong AU50. Since grading gold has never come easily to me, I came to this conclusion after scrutinizing this coin for a very, very long time and comparing to graded examples on the internet.

I am sure I am may be wrong because this one falls outside my buying range which does not get below good XF
My original estimate was low XF but my friend the retired coindealer says because this is an incuse design graders are very harsh and any grade we would normally give should be downgraded
Because the headband lacks considerable detail it may be VF
