Hiya folks. Is there an online recourse somewhere that will show me what the mints have been since the Whitman books have been printed? For example. I just got some Lincoln books but they stop at 2002. What are the mints since that time?

Thanks for the quick response, but that page stops at 2002 also! Any other ideas?

Hmm. 2005-2007 is posted at the US mint website. As for 03&04? I'm not sure. I'll keep looking.

Thanks! It looks like the trend is that only Denver and Philly have produced the coins since 1975. Did San Fran stop minting coins for ever? Hace any new mints popped up? I would assume that I'd be able to write 2003 2003-D 2004 2004-D etc in my book but I wanna know for sure before I start marking in my book. Thanks!

No, the mint in San Francisco has been producing proof strikes. Denver and Philly produce our circulating coinage. West Point produces Bullion coinages, although they minted the anniversary of the Roosevelt dime in 1996.

(Just to be safe, always write in pencil. )

I got this from the US Mint website. Looks like it might be helpful here.

quote:
