Not mine. Just a coin a found online. Curious of what y'all think.

Has an odd color. Anyone know why? Is it just the picture?

I have a few large cents and they are all varying degrees of brown.

Scott this looks similar to the 56 you posted. Looks like the same sellers pics. This coin exhibits the same smudge outs that the 56 had. Looks like the pics have been touched up

It's a different seller. I saw the smudges. I don't think that is image doctoring, but rather just an effect of posting small photos on ebay.

Truthfully, from what I can see in this pic, the smudges don't appear to be covering anything. They're not so blurry that one couldn't see a decent sized mark through them, and if you look at them, they actually go between every star around the edge of the coin. I doubt if there would be that much problem to cover up. The seller has thousands of coin sales and 100% feedback.

It does have great details, so Arael's MS-63 would definitely apply.

It looks more silver than copper, though. Kind-of like my 3 cent piece or V nickel.

Looking forward to more input from others!

I hope those red blotches aren't on the coin.

If the pics have not been touched up I would agree with 63BN. Hopefully they have a return policy if you decide to pull the trigger.

These look like scans and not photos. Hard to judge for sure but from them MS-63BN would fit.

With those pics it could be AU, Details, or MS IMHO.
