Just saw this on ebay $500 US, I am not really interested in it especially with the exchange rate and shipping/customs charges etc etc, but I saw how some here got excited over the empty box that was for sale at C/A but was gone in no time. I don't know if this is a good deal or not. Plus the seller doesn't have much or any recent feed back..what she has is over a year old I guess. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/321609601989Edited by Northerncoins 12/06/2014 4:33 pm

Right and then in her description she says "No international sales, sorry! No returns accepted. Sold as is. No e-checks!! Please pay as soon as auction ends, thank you!"
So like I don't get it....
Sounds like someone is desperate for some money.

Guys, do not judge the box here. There are 0 bids, and since the action starts from $500, the seller would accept this as minimal price, means, taking in account the issue price of the coins, he pays $100for you in addition.
And the buyer will get ultra rare Tiger and Rabbit.
(when 2.5 year ago I looked for these coins, they just haven't been offered for sale at all, or for some fantastic prices $200-$300 each).

"Cardboard box that holds wood case has come apart at two sides, easily fixable with some glue. ", it's like this by design so that people can lift the wood box easily.

@yingyang I agree. And when they look at their own listing they're not even shown the additional charges.

Wow gone unsold!! This is telling as some people have paid $300 just for the box. Plus in the past the rabbit and tiger have sold for $250 plus. This had 6 coins and no takers with the box. What does this mean? A price of $475 usd with box and 6 coins, no takers. Are people backing off purchasing coins, or is the Economy just that bad and uncertain in the states. Everything I read concerning the US economy is scary and quite uncertain. The scariest thing is the huge debt the states is saddled with. It's been scary to watch since 2008, and I'm surprised any American buys numis coins. My ebay sales have tanked, only 5 in nov. So far none, however I'm not really trying either.
