For the 1885, there's a distracting mark below Liberty's eye, also a small flat spot in hair bove her ear, and the eagle's breast feathers look not to be fully struck. The feathers on the wing to the left appear ill-defined as well. Fields look pretty much unmarred. I'll say MS63 overall.

With regard to the 1881-S, notable chatter on the obverse, once more just a hint of flatness above the ear, a gouge in the field to the left of the eagle on the reverse but a great strike on that side. Again on the whole probably works out to MS63.

Hard to tell from scans as surface luster does not show properly. If you can get some photos a grade opinion would be much easier.

Low MS on both, possibly details on the first. Even if the luster is fantastic, the marks are bad enough to drop the grades on both into "BU roll filler" territory.

I see rubs and slight wear on high points on both IMHO AU-58
