Also recently completed is my clipped decimal set to 1984.
Dollar coins were introduced in 1984 and $2 were introduced in 1988, so this set is completed prior to the introduction of these.

I particularly like the fifty-cent, gnome, it's a lovely coin.
The only clipped decimal that I own is an uncirculated clipped ten-cent from 1966.
Now I'll have to work towards putting together a set like yours!

I'm so jealous . I only have a clipped 5c and a couple of clipped 20c pieces. They are very hard to find in circulation (were I got mine). I have found more 1966 wavy 2's 20c than clipped 20c pieces.

that is cool, I may try to put a Dansco7070 with clipped planchets together if I ever can get my regular 7070 finished, of course the clipped planchet one would have to be a lifetime goal since I have never seen some of the coins clipped

Thanks Robert, you sorted your album yet or still getting into trouble from mum and dad.
I have just picked up another edition to this set, a 1976 clipped 50c.

Sheesh, I don't know how many coins have passed through my hands & I haven't seen 1 clipped coin yet.

A bit off topic now, but also picked up a 1920 double dot 1d, another 1962 doublenose 1d, and another 1942 missing I 1d.
All from the same private sale.

Those 50c clips are very interesting! Does a planchet clip like that show evidence of the Blakesley effect? (weakened rim on the opposing side)
