Picked this up at the November show, nice grade and an interesting crack. I wonder if this die was pulled out of service sooner because the crack might be considered a slight to the king's image, or just because the die would break up soon. Reverse clashes and a couple obverse clashes but no hearing aid.

Yeh, that obverse die was on its last legs.

I've never seen this one... nice find! Sometimes, because of the way that coin shipments were made (the contents of one bag of coins shipped to the west was about the lifespan of one fifty cent die) you will find find varieties in Western Canada that you do not see in the East.
