I recently joined PCGS and with it came 8 submissions. I sent in this coin as one of the 8. It came back as an 1853 NO ARROWS. I don't know about you, but I clearly see arrows. I've not been collecting coins that long, but its my understanding that NO ARROWS means no arrows next to the date. If what I understand is wrong, let me know. But if I'm right it makes me question how many other coins are given the wrong (variety, grade) etc. It seems a simple slip of the finger can change things dramatically. This is coming from one of the top grading authorities.

I'm no expert on Seated Liberty coinage, but it sure looks like there are arrows on it to me. If the PCGS designation turns out to be correct I look forward to being educated as to why.

Send it back and have them re-slab it with the correct description.

When you process thousands of coins a week mistakes are going to happen.

Interesting. Maybe he was trained in Braille and had calluses from playing the guitar?

Put it on $bay at five times it's value as a " TPG error slab" like all the other idiots entrepreneurs do.
