OK so I need to polish and pickle it but I have tried something new. The hardest part was tempering the steel properly to maintain its spring..
Money Clip mark 1
I will try it with cut coins as soon as I have the process down..

I figure its almost Christmas so maybe people will be getting desperate for gifts. I will be at a local farmers market on Saturday selling these along with a whole bunch of home made jellies.

Very Nice. You may want to try this with various belt buckles; may increase your sales.

I am going to try silver next but the heat needed to weld the coin to the steel is very close to the melting point of the silver.. I killed two dimes already :-(
Going to use bigger silver coins when I get it right I have a tone of whizzed dollars and half dollars. Belt buckles are in my future but I don't have the equipment I need to make them as yet.
