Thought this might be a DDO but I guess that's an open 3 and therefore can't be a DDO correct.

That is correct. The Open 3 only has the RPD variety as well as a doubled "L"-only (in Liberty) variety.

This is still a nice Fine coin.

return it b/c the rust/corrosion between 11 and 12 near the rim on the obverse.

Thanks guys. It's my cancer meds the seller let me cancel. I've bought many coins from him and made nice money on them. My prognosis got worse so I'm buying and selling to raise enough to take my niece scuba diving. My sister has a house on the water in the keys so all I have to raise is about $1,000 and I have $300 a ready so I know I can get there if I stick to coins with returns just in case.
