I stumbled across this forum and thought I'd post to see if this coin is any particular VAM. There appear to be clash marks...thanks to those of you who are looking. AMB

Much appreciation....I think the 3A appears right on track with my coins features. Thanks for your help.

3A was my initial thinking but study die cracks carefully. This coin is EDS and the VAMworld plate coin is LDS. Look for the letter transfer under the cap too, and of course the date doubling. Nice snag indeed if it's 3A.

I'm leaning towards 3A. Does it have the die scratch in the wing?

Shame about the cleaning/polishing.

Thar she blows. It only remains to identify the degree of letter transfer to determine if it's actually 3A. Here's some other stuff for you to look for.
