Are you serious? Do they really fake these? I had no idea. Is there a place that has pictures of the fakes?

Yes. In fact Morgans are one of "the" most heavily counterfeited coins in the world. The fakes are mostly from China, where they mass-produce fake coins.
There are fakes for every date/MM, and 1921 is no exception.
Google "counterfeit Morgan" or "fake Morgan" and check out the pics.
This one looks ok from the pics to me. Nothing really pops out, but it's always good to be sure by testing it with a magnet

I have two well worn morgans 1901 and 1898 that are in vg condition. I weighed them in at 25.73 and 25.78. I see they should weigh about 26.63 g can wear account for this much of a difference? Thanks.

This specimen weighs 24.91 grams and I have no doubt as to its authenticity.

Regarding the 1921, the price is fair enough at retail, as it looks to be AU at worst. Not all fake Morgans are ferrous, though, so the magnet test is not entirely reliable. What does detect the vast majority of counterfeits is weight, and since it appears you have a scale that reads out in 1/100th gram increments, you're already ahead of the game and ought to be able to easily tell if an example is genuine or not.

So my dollars at 25.7 are well within weight for a VG coin. I passed on the morgan above. I bought one off of ebay graded by PCGS MS63 1889 for 20 dollars more. If you figure the MS62 is worth more than an AU coin the 10 to me is well worth the grading. Its 30 bucks to have it graded. Any opinions?

My opinion; Why buy a MS62 for $45 when you can get an MS64 of the same date for $75 or so?

I'd rather have one 64 than two 62's.
