Doesn't look like it. Looks to me like the area around the front foot has been tooled - carved on.

Yeah, I guess for ten bucks you did get a 3 LEGED BUFFLO, but you didn't get a 3-Legged Buffalo

No it's not. On a real one, the P of PLURIBUS and the U of UNUM do not touch the bison's back. This will sound funny but your P and U are too close to the back.

The leg was tooled somehow. Also, the genitalia is oddly pointed on a real 3-legged Buffalo nickel. The last thing is that there are these funny little raised areas under the buffalo that are not on this coin and should be.

Not to be crass, we call it the buffalo peeing as it looks like little droplets in the fields under the bison.

This one is definitely not legit.

The $10.00 price is from the early 1960's, This was one of my grandmothers coins. When I took the picture I noticed
the leg looked like someone had helped it "go away". thats why I left it in the 45 year old holder.
