Let me know your thoughts and opinions on this 1979 D penny with no "FG" initials on the reverse. I acquired a few of these and think they might be worth something...

I can not find any record of it or pictures of it any where. I have seen several references but no actual coins.

Just another over polished die. The initials were removed by over polishing. Abe is almost gone as well.

. As to a value of $5,I think that's a bit much. You might want to check ebay sold values to see if any have sold to get a realistic idea of value.I would put it in a 2x2 if I found it.

I'm thinking about 10 mills.
