I see that large denticle is only listed in MS or better in the valuation charts. ebay listings show good prices for ms64 and better.

I find quite a few in circulation but most would be graded less than MS due to scratches and obvious handling. Is there any point to set them aside?

I would say that at the present, there is no extra value but with the Governments ARP on all pre 2001 coins, they might be worth keeping for the future as they will become harder to obtain in any grade.
