Hello all,
Just wondering if this may be a die break or PMD or maybe a planchet flaw? Any and all comments appreciated.

I don't think it is a die crack. Note that outside rim area is missing some of the rim in that area? It looks like a may have fallen of/damaged/removed. On a die crack the area would show an irregular raised line. On your coin it appears to be incuse on the rim with the surface lower in that area. Looks like the 12:00 area of your coin is showing this also at the top of the coin. The coin appears to be cleaned and there is some accumulation in the centers of the devices on OF AMERICA and the date. There is also a green spot on the reverse to the left of "C" on CENT.

I'm not sure what to attribute to the rim, since I find the coin a bit dubious. The denticles just don't look quite right for an IHC.
They're really uneven/different lengths--especially for a coin with XF details. They just weren't struck that way, and corrosion usually attacks the coin evenly.
It's hard to see the date in detail, but that should be studied carefully on your coin--to a genuine example (below).

I've cobbled together a comparison between a low XF 1875 and yours.

It's hard to make out on yours, but on a genuine 1875, all the digits line up along the top.

Wow. The date looks like it was done in 4 different typefaces. Perhaps it's partly photography, but that is odd indeed.
