Going through some mercs and taking some pictures, hopefully after a little while I will have a handle on this grading business :). Using PCGS photo grade to make a guess, and using you guys as a sounding board to see how close I am.

1917-And-1918-S-Mercury-Dime

Thanks again

Top one I was thinking maybe XF, bottom one, VF at best, maybe worse because of the rim wearing into the United on the edge?

Didn't even realize there was a 2nd coin. My bad. Looking more closely I'm not sure the 2nd one makes VF.

Both cleaned I think....Looks like top is vf-xf details, while the bottom is F details.

Nice solid strike on the second one, and even with wear and cleaning you still can see the outline of young lady liberty on the reverse.
