I got a few rolls of wheat cents, 1951-56-57 and I'm wondering if there is anything in particular I should watch for?
I'm guessing these mintmarks are normal, left, right, center or is there something to them..I dont have enough to compare with.
Thanks

My first BIE find, insignificant but I dont get many cents to check anymore so I was happy to see it.

Being that, in the 50s, the MM was hand stamped into the dies, the location does migrate a bit. What you see is normal. The LIBERTY coin is a die chip

There are also die chips in the 5 and 9 in your "right" coin as well

Keep in mind the wheat cents from the 50's dies were way over used. On one you can see die chips on the date, the BIE is a die chip, a closer view of the mint mark would be needed to see RPMs. But keep in mind coppercoins.com for die varieties for Lincoln cents and also the images can be used to see what could be out there. After seeing what is possible, then a mental note will help you see what could be on your coins. Questions here are always welcome.

The better the images posted, the better we can see what you have.

The best shot to take is to enclose the date and mint mark. That way an overlay is easier to make with a known die image from different sources. Size of image. I make mine in the 600-1000 pixel width range.

That way I can see what is necessary and if images are taken too close, they are not always a big help. Even a pot hole can look like the "Meteor Crater" in Arizona if you use too much magnification. LOL

Will do.
I'll try 600x800 if that works, it will be in a little while I have a few more rolls to check.
Thanks again
