Well, there were over 20 million minted. It is a clad coin no silver but, if you do not have one, enjoy.

You could always start a SBA set if you haven't already! I recently decided to put together and nice uncirculated collection and it's fun because it's not easy to find clean examples!

Spend it and list it on the dollar coin and half dollar spending thread ;)

If you want to collect SBA's get nice ones from the 1979, 1980 and 1981 mint sets.

If you want to start a SBA collection I would suggest spending it and looking for a uncirculated one in a bank roll. They are pretty common though no premium.

I recently started collecting dollars from circulation.
