a couple of lower end byzantines to end coin year 2014. not really to bad for byzantine coins, and nice "black and tan" desert patina.

the regnal year looks intersting on this one, it appears to be an "II over X", could be III, but I think the circular border of the coin gets in there.
so is this year 12? or is it subtractive (year 8)?

Both nice coins, personally prefer the second one.
Wonder what you consider a bargain price on those, having seen what you paid for the ancient Indian one.
