With the Russian economic crisis in full swing and their population eager to convert their rubles into things that can weather the storm, several of the major vectors that sell counterfeit Russian bullion and collectible coins have been posting sharp increases in units sold and notices of delays for packages being shipped into Russia due to sheer volume.

If you are planning on purchasing any Russian gold or silver coins, please be doubly careful and exercise due diligence.

That matches the crash in the value of the Russian ruble.

1 Russian Ruble today equals 0.017 US Dollar. I guess if you have legitimate silver it's worth much more yet who will buy it?
