Trying to figure out this ebay seller. Most all of his or her coins are just about the same color. I can see a little bit of bright copper/bronze color breaking through on some of the coins. Photos are very clear...

All the coins are cleaned, wonder what solution (s)he uses. The Constatius Gallus has been visibly tooled as well. The colour of the medieval silver coins is not natural either.
Overcleaned? That depends on your judgement.

All coins are cleaned. Although, in my opinion not all of them are "overcleaned", some of them are just right, others are not "overcleaned" but still cleaned enough to make them unattractive, and yes, some are visibly and harshly cleaned.

He or she must just really be of the opinion that ancients should be cleaned until there's no trace of dirt on them at all.

I bought this for $14.

It's kind of difficult to judge from the pics. I don't think this level of cleaning, whatever it is, would bother me, but I imagine that the coin may be a bit darker in hand than it appears here.

IMO, most coins look OK and have been cleaned relatively good. However there are a few that do appear to be over-cleaned and worked with a pick or other type of tool that damaged the patina.
