Howdy all, ancients are complete mystery to me but I find the odd one in job lots which are obvious fakes but I believe this is probably real (if just a tad green!) but would like confirmation if possible and a proper identification.

A quick google search reveals something similar
Probus (276-282 A.D.), AE-Antoninianus, RIC V-II 737, Siscia, ROMAE AETERNAE, Bust-H, -/-//XXIQ, Roma seated in temple, C

I checked the fake reports and didn't find anything that matched yours. So I believe your coin is genuine. Nice rare find.

Looks genuine to me, probably part of a hoard of similar antoniniani. The reverse legend means 'Eternal Rome' or 'Rome Forever'. Its good type and temple reverses are popular.

EDIT: Your attribution was slightly off, its actually RIC V-2 Siscia 739.

I disagree with Ben and agree with the original attribution of RIC 737 as Roma is clearly holding Victory.
