as far as PCGS and authentication, I heard something I never knew. That is that if you pay to get the coin photoed (true view) they will authenticate the coin and take a picture of it for you but you have to pay the extra 5 bucks for them to authenticate the coin if its determined ungradable by them, it will just have on the picture that it wasn't graded by PCGS

I'd heard that ANACS uses the old-style small holders for problem coins. Treasurehunter, please post your coin when you get it back; I think we would all like to see the holder!

Will do. Should have it by early next week, or sooner since they shipped yesterday. Now I just have to figure out how to use my new camera to post the picture.

ANACS, Old style for problem coins, new style for the rest.

Just recently ANACS began placing BOTH problem and problem free coins in the new updated holders. The old small sized holders have been phased out.

yep thats the new holder. So it looks as if they thought the coin had been cleaned and retoned also (which would make it a questionable color)
