Yeah - Canadian nickel dollars are pretty much like your "Ike" dollars... most dealers pay face value for them, and take them to the bank or toss them into a 5 gallon pail...
For most of eastern Canada, I have become the "bank" for most coin dealers - I buy them at face value, and go through them all for varieties and high grades - sometimes you get them in old pill bottles, or homemade wrapped rolls with hardly a mark on them, and sometimes, like this one, you just get lucky!!
