Hello.. pls help in identification of this old thin silver coin..Diameter approx 1" (one inch). Found in north Iran / South Azerbaijan, Near Caspian sea region.

It's mediaeval Islamic silver dirham, looks like 'Abbasid Caliphate style. Unfortunately, I believe the important information regarding date and mintmark is underneath the green gunk on the bottom picture.

Taking a clue from your comment, I searched Abbasid Dirhams records recand found this one matching with a coin from Madinat-al-salam mint, from 908-932 AH period.
Caliph-al-Muktadir, 1 Dirhem, 914AH to be more specific!

Sorry Sap, it is 908-932 AC and not AH! Specific date is 914 AC (AD) [302 AH]..
