With only 3 more business days before the end of the year I would go out on a limb and say "never"

Not necessarily, in early 1994 the Mint release the 1993 Thomas Jefferson commem's. Since the 2014 silver proof set has not sold out, chances are the 2014 LE Silver set will become available soon. Maybe the Mint's stockpile of silver proof quarters is smaller than expected. Wouldn't it be cool if the S Kennedy proof was substituted with the P Kennedy proof?

I'm with Foxwoods... I think it will just quietly go away when the new year comes.

At $139.95 last year and $149.95 the year before they were not a bargain set...all coins found elsewhere...just the packaging was unique (and cool.. but at a price)
Last year it went on sale on 12/12...

I contacted the mint and they say it will be released. Recall that the 2013 set didn't get released until 2014. I think they're dealing with another redesign of the packaging. The 2013 packaging was terrible.

I agree the packaging was bad. I know I sent back numerous sets a couple of times.

As long as the coins are minted in 2014, it does not matter when the sets are sold.

I have no complaints with the packaging for my 2013 LE Ag set. Are we complaining about the quality/design or the condition?

As was already posted in this thread the 2013 set did not go on sale in 2014. It was released on 12/12/13...the 2012 was released in November 2012. I have never seen a prior years set that was RELEASED in the next year...sold yes...released no. But who knows with the "new" Mint. ..and re: 2013 packaging...it sucked. MANY sets were returned because of marks on the coins which turned out actually just to be marks on the plastic packaging...open, rotate, voila! Still pretty lame attempt for a pricey (139.95) item ..and re: called and told that they would be released...was that the same CSA that said the Coin & Currency sets were sold out when there were 30k left? Those agents handle orders not product....I bet they are instructed NEVER to say "I do not have that information"...just make up an answer and go with it...

Quote: As was already posted in this thread the 2013 set did not go on sale in 2014. It was released on 12/12/1 I stand corrected. However, I can't edit my post. If a mod is reading this, please strike through the part where I mention the 2014 release. I had high hopes for this set earlier this year. 2013 sets were selling for a fair margin over release price and the 2012 sets were extremely high. Now they've fallen below release price. You'd think that the low production count would help, but it doesn't seem like it does.
