Hmm. Based on the legal arguments being made on behalf of the Farouk-Fenton piece before the settlement, I don't think it's a slam-dunk argument for the government that they were "stolen" or left the Mint illegally. Would the government have settled that case if their legal argument was rock-solid? I think not.

I'd be worried if I paid $7 million for one at this point.
