Looks like one to me; I'm no expert though.

Nice find!

Yes, this one is the second liberty listed on the site and is a new addition, Mr Neff attributed 3 Cuds for me this week, all new discoveries, my first Cud discoveries.

They're all going to be discoveries, since this is the first time they've been documented.

Awesome!!

It has a lot of character to it, like how the wear on reverse left the word cents bold.

thanks for sharing...

I like how you think Ocala, they all have their own story to tell.

Very nice. It's amazing to see a coin that old, with so much character, has evaded attribution until now.

I think there is a great deal of potential with many of the non mainstream coin series, even with some of the hard hit issues like lincoln cents new stuff is "discovered" quite often . Just a couple years ago I submitted some new ones to Copper Coins , one from 34 and two from 44 that were previously unknown doubled dies. There is plenty out there to get the blood pumping !

It hasn't "evaded attribution." It's not a variety. It's a die state of a variety. It's extremely cool that they're being codified in one place because many collectors dote on them regardless of issue, so it'll be a valuable resource.
