Was going through some of the coins I collected during my teens (definitely collected quantity over quality back then) and found a roll of V nickels. Do these have any value over face? As you can see they are definitely not in collectable grades. Looking back through my receipts I think I paid $8 for the roll, so no big loss.

edit: Not all coins pictured. I think these are representative of the lot.

<sigh> Well you didn't really overpay.

Most likely they are worth pretty much what you paid. You know what they say 'good is always and junk is always junk'
Don't feel bad, anyone who has been around for more than a week has done the same thing.

Low end V nicks like that will sell in the 25 to 40 cents range on ebay.

You're "ok" if you paid 8$ for the roll.
