I've got an older edition. I'm certainly NOT going to spend $250 to upgrade it.

I'm curious why he doesn't have the PDF version for sale on his website. I received the email with the download link to it towards the end of November and find myself looking at it when someone mentions that this Indian cent is an S-2. I have it stored on my computer for easy access. About 3 weeks ago, he received his copy of the book and the others would arrive shortly after Christmas. He's planning on having copies to view at the FUN Show. -MV

That's ALOT of money for 2 books. I'd like to hear some feed back about them before investing.

I am one of the kickstarter participants that purchased the 2 volume set. I received my PDF file in late November, it is fantastic. Can't say enough good things about the books, can't wait to get my hard copies for the library. Though I am only into the reading to the Flying eagle section, it is very well written, and I've already learned some new thing about the 1856 pattern coins. The photography is excellent and mostly all in full color. Worth every penny of $250 for the hard copy. The PDF file is protected by placing my name on every page at the bottom, an interesting and novel way to combat people uploading files to the internet for free, this way unless extensive editing is done, Rick will know who stole his work.

I got my volumes today. I am very pleased with the work that Snow has done. Great pictures and explanation of the different varieties. I didn't have the older editions so I can't compare the two. Very happy with this set, can't wait to get started.
