I was going through some of my coins today and I have 2 coins in the old style small anacs slabs, when I picked them up together I realized they were a little different size. One is about an 1/8" longer and maybe a 1/16" wider. Did they make different sizes? Or do I have a fake slab?

Yeah, I have different sized ANACS slabs for the small green holders. I actually have two almost identical coins in them. Both are AU 1851 gold dollars. Not sure when they made the switch. Your slab isn't fake.

Yes they did have two slightly different sizes. The smaller ones came first. I can't say off the top of my head exactly when the changeover started but there was some overlap with at least one slab type coming in both sizes.

Thanks for the info. guys! Here are a few pictures (sorry about the poor picture quality). The last one is the two slabs on top of each other to show the size difference (the morgan is in the smaller slab). Thanks again!
