Hi,

I've been looking at buying an UNC Liberty nickel. Here's one I found. Strike seems good but there are a couple of hits on the reverse. Numismedia price for this is $163. I like the date.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/161541697111

Should I go for it or keep looking?

Thanks

I'd say go for it. It's a beautiful coin.

Snag it. Now. It's a *great* strike offered below retail. You will not see many with the left ear of corn this well-defined. I don't know why it's still there. Buy it now.

Nice strike and color.

Grab it, especially if you have some ebay Bucks...so much the better!

I'd buy it. It's a beautiful coin, and as dave mentioned, below retail price.

Well, somebody got it. That one was a "buy it on sight" coin. If I'd seen it first this thread wouldn't have happened.

The first is always the most memorable (unless you were inexperienced and shined every one of your first coins, like me )! It's very attractive, and like Dave said, very well struck and a nice price! !

Makes me want one, but I think I'm in too deep with Morgans.

Edit: the smilie apparently doesn't need brackets around it.

The die cracks on the reverse running from the edge into US of A look neat. I'd say it's a nice pickup.

Being a bust half guy, I focus on things like die cracks...lol.
