What's going on everyone! New guy here from NJ,name is John. I used to collect when I was younger and then got out of it for a long while, but recently started back up again! At the moment I buy silver and gold, but that wasn't doing it enough for me. I decided that I wanted to build a Full Band Mercury dime set.
So after only 2 months of nothing I have acquired a little bit of something. Since this picture was taken I have added about 4 or 5 coins with 2 more on the way. Hoping you gain a lot of knowledge that I'm sure plenty of people on here have. Have a good day!

Here are the backs. Pretty crappy pictures, but everyone of these have FSB. I need to win the lottery if I want to finish this set in all FSB. I will purchase as many as I can afford to!

Yea well that coin I posted is a 1945..and I can scoop it up for 1200$$...its graded but not by a reputable company. I'm thinking about buying it and sending it out to PCGS to get graded.Even if it isn't FB that's a pretty darn good looking 45' if you ask me anyway considering what most of them look like! Thanks for the compliments guys,

Beautiful set. I believe that the 1945 is FSB.

OH man hopefully I can make a move on it! If not then it wasn't meant to be..There is no way I will be able to afford all of them in FSB. Like I said I will buy what I can afford in FSB and I will try to keep the majority of this set at least high AU..For now I'm going for mostly all gem white fb. Boy do I have the itch again. I just don't have enough funds for all the really really good stuff lol. One can hope to wish and get lucky though! Thanks for all the compliments guys! Gives me more motivations to get the best coins I can find!

The grades for some of the coins in the album.

Yes I do break open slabs if I can get them for a good price! I'm very gentle and just use enough force to break the seal on the slab.

Contemplating on getting it or not. I asked the guy for better pictures of the facets on the back of the dime and he hasn't gotten back to me yet. So if he doesn't then I take that as there is something wrong with the coin and he is just trying to get rid of it as soon and as quick as possible. On the other hand if I do pick it up and it is FSB I may try to do a quick flip on it buy either selling it as it is in its graded PCI slab or maybe re send it back out if I deem it qualifies for a FSB grade. Either way if I'm gambling Id rather be it over a poker table at a casino and not over the internet. Anyway if I cant snag this one my father has a 1945-P in Ms67-Fb..maybe Id have to persuade him into letting me pay that off for the rest of my life to own it lol
