This 1838 Large Cent has a broken N on the reverse. After looking at it closely and all three mention varieties I am leaning towards N-11. But the dentilation on the reverse is weak which leads me to 15 or 16 . I'm pretty sure its not N-16 as the E in Liberty is above the R. But an N-15 on heritage looks like the E is above the R. So I guess it's between 11 and 15. Any help would be appreciated.
Looks like mid to late state of N-11 (which was originally called N-13) On N-15 the obv was new and the dentilation was bold. On the 15 the reverse dentilation is almost gone even on MS pieces
