... of a counterfeit -- which were put up on the Internet to begin with to combat counterfeits -- to sell that counterfeit online.
A con-artist is going down under the DMCA. :-)

There is now limit to how low these crooks will go. A shame.

Wow, that really stinks. If this jerk is on ebay you can certainly rat him out.

Another thread on this topic from another member not too long ago. https://goccf.com/t/191923Unfortunately it seems to be a frequent occurrence. If they were hotlinking I'd say change the picture on your website and give them a little surprise.

Seems like even with my crummy photos and annoying background, I serve as a free image database... Came across a guy on ebay Germany a couple of weeks ago using my photos to sell his Notgeld... I can only imagine how many people are stealing good photos... Quote:Wow, that really stinks. If this jerk is on ebay you can certainly rat him out. Not really, in fact even after filing reports with ebay on all the ones I had found and wasting the time doing that, every single one I had reported is still up.

I think an update is in order. :-) It was on iOffer which is a den of scum and villainy as far as counterfeits are concerned. I would link to it, but the page has been since taken down. In short, a few individuals had yanked pictures of a fake Trade dollar from The Black Cabinet to sell fake Trade dollars of the same year, so I sent a DMCA takedown notice as well as request that they look into the customer's account. iOffer was quick to respond and had delisted the coins within a couple of hours. And now I can't seem to find the users' stores any longer, so that's a good sign, too. In retrospect, my one regret is that I didn't take some screenshots. :-)

@Conder101 - One person was selling it as a "Replica" where two others were selling it as the real thing. With the same images from my website.
