Well, it looks like a decent coin and is no doubt in a PCGS holder, but there is only one picture and that is of the obverse... Heck, without the reverse picture or a picture of the full slab, we don't even know if it is in a XF45 holder at all! If I wanted to spend $2400 on a coin, I would want pictures of both sides and of the full slab. He does have good ratings, though. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1877-Indian...&rk=1&rkt=4&

There's a reverse photo below in the body of the listing.

I can see pictures of the holder, obverse and reverse in the list. This seller uses auctiva to host his pictures instead of using ebay's system. Scroll down in the sellers description.

No picture of the full reverse of the slab. That violates ebay policy.

Quote:No picture of the full reverse of the slab. That violates ebay policy 99.9% of listed graded coins do not have a full photo of the reverse of the slab. That's a pretty useless photo if you think about it, the seller has a photo of the full front of the coin in the slab, a photo of the coin's obverse and a photo of the reverse... I don't get the critique at all?

I didn't find anything after a bit of searching, although I may have overlooked something. I agree though that the seller should include full pictures of the slab for the money he's asking.

It *is* ebay policy, enacted a few years ago when they tightened the slab restrictions. The technical reason is to show the hologram, I guess, but it doesn't bother me here.

No way I'm paying close to $2500 for a coin that I haven't seen the reverse on.

They've tweaked it. It doesn't read as I remember it before. This is disconcerting.

I see no problem with the coin as listed. If it was something I wanted, would pull the trigger without hesitation. FWIW
