Nice coin. I would've guessed MS-66, I think this one will upgrade if you ever decide to resubmit.

Just as I thought, I think the strike is holding this one back, even though it's in an older holder, I think it would re-grade the same today. However, it is an outstandingly clean looking coin. MS66 is still a possibility 2 out of 10 tries at the TPGs today I'd like to think.

I can't find a mark on it! I'll have to wait for your pictures, though!

NGC soapdish holder...believe this would be a consideration for CAC. If it gold stickers, then you more than likely don't have to crack & regrade.

That's a tough call on the coin, but 81-s is an immaculate year of superb strikes. your first photo showing a slight wear on the hair above the ear made me think, Questionable 65 grade, but the fields are remarkable....66 plus...but the slight hash marks over the 4th star and above the date are an eye catcher, still a tough call

I awaited your images because the photography techniques we teach here emphasize both sharpness and contrast, and even capable photographers sometimes fall short of that latter, to their detriment. As the egregia cum laude graduate of our program, I expect your imagery to be as close to holding the coin in-hand as it gets.
This one proves your mettle.
It's a CAC green 65, maybe a 65+ because of the fantastic cheek but no better. In the context of the times of that slab, accurately graded. Probably as good a 65 as any of us will ever see, but a 65.

Even though it is graded MS65, I'm still sticking strong that it might be able to pull off a 66 if it's resubmitted. Maybe MS66 net 65 due to the obverse @ 4 o'clock?
