This looks like an impressive auction of coin reference material. While it is interesting, I am surprised at how high the values are.

I would not have thought anyone would pay US$600 for an old Canadian coin auction catalogue.

What a great auction catalogue! Imagine what the prices realized would have been.

Ooh, thanks, I didn't know about this sale.
Some of the lots are amazingly rare.
Some of the lots seem incredibly cheap.

For example, 101 usually sells upwards of £750 retail.
I've always wanted a copy of Neumann see 165, and it would be tempting at $500 but it won't fetch so little - not even worth bidding.
