What year is it? Since it looks like a low-relief strike, I think it's zinc rot.

I have a bunch like that -- they are just disintegrating. It's really sad that so many coins were produced that are of such poor quality that they just self-destruct.

Damage on the Zincolns make it a matter of time before they break down more and more.
