Hi all,

I'm having difficulty establishing a value assigned to a medal by a respected authority in the field without having to buy a catalog (can't afford it right now).

I would appreciate it if someone give me an idea of what this medals value is?

'United Kingdom, the 1902 King Edward VII Coronation Celebration Silver Medal, by G.W. de Saulles, manufactured by The Royal Mint.'

It is approximately 55.56 mm in diameter, weighs approximately 85.8 grams, and tests out at approximately .960 fine silver. I can't find any record of mintage.

Thanks.. Dan

These are not selling well at present. You do not say if your medal is cased or not.
Currently, the trade is asking £85-90 for a cased medal, and in most cases failing to achieve that price. Uncased you can expect maybe spot + 10-15%.
