Do they still offer the $1 coins for purchase without a mark up? I cant find it on the mints website.

If it's not there then... Probably not! Try your local bank! (Unless you're talking about the 2015 Presidential dollars, witch haven't been released yet)

No, they don't. Too many people were cashing in on it via percent back or airline miles by paying for the coins at face with free shipping, and then just depositing them back in the banks.

Now there's a markup. And I don't expect that to ever go away again.

Furthermore, since 2011, no dollar coin has been released into circulation; only sold via the mint.
