I was able to purchase a roll of 40% silver Kennedy halves on ebay for $1.90 over the silver content value. I wanted to get some to fill my dansco album but would reselling the rest on ebay be the best (profitable) way to get rid of the rest? What with the 13% fees and all... Thanks all!

40% is much harder to sell than 90%.

You are lucky to get melt for 40% after ebay fees if you are lucky.

I'd try Craigslist first or wait til silver gos up to recoup you costs.

Ever thought of trading them for credit against another purchase at a coin show?

I did have the thought that it would be better to wait until silver goes up again (whenever that would be). After some looking I did realize getting a roll of 40%s at just about spot price wasn't too hard to do since the 40% are harder to sell. I just wish I went to more coin shows or knew of them around the area. I have only gone to the ANA show in Chicago this summer and that has been my one and only show to date thus far. Thanks for the opinions!

You could be waiting a long time.

I sold a couple rolls of my CRH finds for $55 to 57 a roll on ebay a month or so ago to buy 90% and bullion while prices were down. I'm sure after fees and shipping it was below spot, but buyer paid a premium. Perhaps there's a way to find same buyer pool on Craigslist without fees. I might bring a roll to my LCS next time to see what he'd give for credit.
