Left I would say a strong AU55+
Right I will put in the range of MS62-MS65

Never was a huge fan of the post-1927 George V coinage. The new low-relief portrait wore down quickly, and whatever alloy they were using during those years just didn't tone well at all.

Both of these coins look EF to me, and are a bit nicer than standard fare for the era.

Would you believe that the coin on the left is NGC AU58. Good call on that by the way. Now the coin on the left is Graded by UK CGS our only coin grader and I for one have always said they undergrade mainly because they are unforgiving in any areathey graded it as VF50. To me its a disgrace. I am not their biggest fan as you can tell. 8 years ago when they first started I sent 12 coins to be variety attributed and they ignored them all lol.

As you can clearly see doesn't take a rocket scientist to see its a variety type and its still unlisted to this day.
