Hello! I put my 1931 S LWC in a plastic 2X2 and noticed that the obverse was straight but the reverse was slanted! I don't know if this is an error or if this is a fake/counterfeit coin, so I was wondering if you guys could take a look at it. Thanks in advance!

Not enough for any kind of premium on a '31-S. They are hard to come by anyway. You need much more rotation.

Ok, so this is normal on LWC's? Why have I not run into these in the hundreds of wheat cents ive seen?

Which way did you flip it? If you flipped it normally, you should have seen it a thousand times. Just about every Lincoln I've seen has a 5 degree or so rotation. If you flipped it sideways, you have a major error. Otherwise it's normal.

Because the mint made hundreds of "millions" and only a small percentage are rotated. There are enough rotated dies out there that collectors set a minimum of degrees to collect, something like 30%?

I'm wondering the same as Jay above , which way did you flip the holder. Maybe let a small pc of tape wrap one side from front to back and take the pics again.

The best way is to put a staple on the bottom of the obverse side. That will give us a reference point for the reverse.

Or some have plated the coin in front of a mirror and taken an image:

If the coin is normal the reverse in the image should be up-side-down.
