I noticed a 35 MS 66 silver dollar that did not have any toning when I sent to ICCS for grading a few months ago but it now has some toning around the edge that I know was not there before submission. I keep coins in a binder and my storage area is not heated ?

Copper has been known to turn in ICCS holders over time . On the dollar you have is it possible that you missed the rim toning? If not then did the source you acquired the coin from play with it before you ended up with it. An improper dip can do funny things to a silver coin. When storing ICCS coins use the available black single row boxes you can get at a coin supply store. Then when you store the boxes away in a dark non humid room temperature environment Safe or safe deposit box, use DESSICANT available again at a hobby store or lock and safe establishment. Do regular checks to make sure your coins are safe.

Coins will turn in any TPG holder. They are not airtight.
