I found this coin coin roll hunting.It is a 1951-S Wheat cent. It was in a old roll of mostly Wheats from the 50's. It has a big chunk of the side taken out. Do you think this could be a planchet error or any other kind of error. Or is this just damage?

Nope. That is post mint damage. Someone/something damaged the coin.

Note on the obverse below the bust, the rim is there from when the coin was struck. PSD. The coin is damaged.
