MS62 and hopefully the lines on the reverse are die polish lines. Attribution for 1896 P starts with a close up of the date. It appears to be a normal date position so that only narrows it down to roughly 20 possibilities.

MS-60 hairlines on the reverse do nothing for the coin.
Rest in Peace

A close up of all the date digits including the denticles is a good place to start.

MS-62 sounds about right. The lines on the reverse appear to be die polishing since they don't extend through the devices.
